Your First Appointment

Every new patient begins with an examination with one of our dentists. We will take a series of intraoral photos and X-rays to establish a baseline reading of your oral health and current conditions. From there, we’ll spend time getting to know you personally and discussing any goals you have about your oral health or cosmetic desires. If you’re considering dental implants, we’ll also perform a complimentary 3D CBCT scan.

Preventative Dentistry

With access to a great preventative dental team and the right oral hygiene habits, you can significantly reduce your need for treatments in the future. We recommend a preventative cleaning every six months, with regular screening for cavities and gum disease. Should we notice any specific areas of concern, we’ll show you how to care for them between checkups.

In addition to regular cleanings, we also provide protective dental sealants, fluoride treatments, and mouthguards.

Treatment for Gum Disease

Periodontal infections should be treated promptly to avoid tooth and bone loss. We offer in-house periodontal therapy to help keep you smiling. If you’re currently experiencing symptoms of red, swollen, or receding gums, be sure to let us know.

Metal Free Dental Treatments

We incorporate minimally invasive, durable restorations that are metal free and match the natural color of your smile. From white fillings to attractive zirconia dental crowns, your care plan is designed with your health, beauty, and quality of life at the center of everything we do.

We also offer tooth replacement options like dental implants and implant-retained dentures.

Custom Oral Appliances (Sleep Apnea, Sports Mouthguards)

Professionally fitted oral appliances offer the best level of protection and comfort. Whether you’re safeguarding your smile during an athletic activity, clench your teeth because of stress, or suspect you have sleep apnea, we can fit you with the appropriate mouthpiece for your dental needs. The right mouthguard can even reduce your risk of a potential concussion. Dr. Minnillo, Dr. Papp, Dr. Reidy or Dr. Sklenar can screen for sleeping disorders and bruxism during your dental exam.

Oral Cancer Screenings

Our Delaware, OH dentists perform an oral cancer screening during every exam. As we evaluate soft tissues inside and around your mouth, we can detect precancerous areas as early as possible, providing lifesaving intervention for this extremely dangerous disease.
