A Note from Dr. Jennifer Gordana

     After many wonderful years of serving Mount Vernon and the surrounding communities, I am writing to share some important news regarding the future of Gordona Dental.

     As many of you know, my husband relocated to Virginia two years ago for his career. During that time, I remained local as a commitment to my patients and to this practice. However, the time has come for me to join my husband and begin a new chapter with my family on the East Coast.

Making the decision to transition my practice was not easy and one of my top priorities was finding the right dentists to continue caring for you and your family. After a careful and thoughtful search, I am pleased to share that I have found an excellent fit.

     I am delighted to introduce Dr. Amanda Troutman and Dr. Joseph Papp, who will be leading the practice moving forward. Both doctors share my commitment to compassionate, high-quality care and building lasting relationships with patients.

The practice currently known as Gordona Dental will transition to Mt. Vernon Smile Center, joining an established family of privately owned dental practices serving the Delaware, Sunbury, Lewis Center areas, and now Mount Vernon. Most importantly, all of the familiar team members you know and trust will continue caring for you. To help ensure a smooth transition, I will remain involved for a period of time and work closely with Dr. Troutman, Dr. Papp, and the team. This will allow me to personally introduce many of you to your new doctors and help maintain continuity of care.

     It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to care for you and your families. Thank you for your trust, friendship, and loyalty throughout the years. Meet Dr. Amanda Troutman

     Dr. Amanda Troutman is dedicated to helping patients of all ages feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely cared for at every visit. She believes the best dental care begins with listening, building trust, and creating personalized treatment plans that help every patient achieve a healthy, lasting smile.

     A Central Ohio native, Dr. Amanda earned her bachelor's degree in Microbiology from The Ohio State University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She is proud to bring her knowledge, gentle approach, and passion for patient care to Mt. Vernon Smile Center, where she looks forward to building lasting relationships with families throughout the community.

Whether you're visiting for a routine cleaning, cosmetic dentistry, restorative treatment, or emergency dental care, Dr. Boggs strives to make every appointment a positive and stress-free experience. She enjoys helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their smiles.

     Outside the office, Dr. Boggs enjoys spending time with her husband, Zane, their daughter, Jane, and their two dogs, Ollie and Theo. She loves exploring the outdoors, traveling, and making memories with family and friends throughout Central Ohio.

Meet Dr. Joseph Papp

     Dr. Joseph Papp is passionate about providing comprehensive, high-quality dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. He believes in building lasting relationships with his patients by taking the time to listen, educate, and create personalized treatment plans that help every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile.

Dr. Papp lives in nearby Sunbury, Ohio, with his wife, Erin, and their two daughters. As a Central Ohio resident, he is proud to care for families throughout Mt. Vernon and the surrounding communities, helping patients of all ages feel at ease while receiving exceptional dental care.

     Committed to continuing education and advanced dentistry, Dr. Papp has completed extensive training in IV sedation (twilight sleep dentistry), Invisalign®, Six Month Smiles®, dental implants, implant-supported restorations, root canal therapy, oral surgery, crowns, bridges, dentures, and tooth extractions. He is also a graduate of the Midwest Implant Institute, where he received advanced training in dental implant placement. His broad range of experience allows him to provide comprehensive care so patients can receive many of their treatments in one convenient location.

     When he's not caring for patients at Mt. Vernon Smile Center, Dr. Papp enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, archery, cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, and exploring the outdoors throughout Central Ohio.
